Steve
Steve is a founder and Director of Ideas for a Change – Moore Media.
Steve has worked at a senior level across Government, the media and education. Steve is a strategic adviser to Channel 4, a board member of the Big Society Network and has served on numerous public sector partnerships and boards and as a trustee of charities. In recent years Steve has produced over 80 events for 15 different clients including the 2gether Festival, 2morro and Reboot Britain. Steve is passionately interested in education, innovation, culture and politics. He is a big Arsenal fan.
Lucy
Lucy is co-founder of Ideas for a Change – Moore Media.
A successful events organiser with a wealth of experience – from managing specific targeted events for Channel 4 education to orchestrating UK-wide large events with celebrity speakers and public figures, Lucy has 10 years experience of all aspects of event management.
Lucy started her career in the education sector, organising large traditional style conferences for a range of organisations from both the private and public sector. She has also worked with creative start ups, charities and third sector organisations and specialises in interactive, collaborative events using technology. Through her work with Amplified she works with clients to bring in the use of social media and event reporting technology to increase the life cycle and reach of an event.
She also has a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology and sees events as the perfect place to bring a bit of positive psychology to the people. Lucy loves to talk about positive psychology and will try to inject it wherever possible – you have been warned!
Steve and Lucy have worked together for over 5 years and been friends since they met in the education world in 2004.
